Strawberry Chia Jam (Vegan, GF)

Yields:

Ingredients: 

2 cups strawberries

2 Tablespoons chia seeds

2 Tablespoons water

Directions: 

Slice the ends off your strawberries, then slice strawberries into smaller pieces.

Use a fork to mash the strawberries on a plate or cutting board.

Pour the strawberries into a jar or glass container. Stir chia seeds and water into strawberries.

Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours. Enjoy!

Notes: 

My strawberries were sweet enough not to need extra sugar, but if your jam needs a sweetener, I recommend adding some honey, pure maple syrup or coconut sugar. Regular sugar works, too.
