Reiki

Reiki is a hands-on healing approach that promotes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing within one’s body. Each body contains specific energy zones, or chakras, where the energy can become blocked if we are unhealthy, stressed or exhausted. A Reiki session works to unclog these chakras and allow the energy in our bodies to flow freely and become balanced, resulting in improved health and relaxation.

Rei = Universal

Ki = Life Force Energy

Therefore, Reiki translates to mean Universal Life Force Energy. Reiki is not part of any religion, nor does it go against any religious beliefs. It’s an inner spiritual tool that allows you to relax and to believe in your body’s self healing powers. It can also complement other healing methods, such as medications or procedures.

Reiki is safe for anyone of any age. Reiki has no side effects and can be used alone or alongside other healing methods. You can receive Reiki from anyone who has completed a Reiki course and has been attuned to the energy.

I was attuned to Reiki I and II in 2010 by Usha, Reiki Master and creator of Pink Mist Retreat. I was attuned as a Reiki Master in 2012 by Alysa Radtke, Reiki Master.

I now perform full Reiki sessions on Tuesday evenings at Nurture the Journey Wellness Studio in Minooka, IL! I can also provide sessions in my home and am willing to travel to your home for an extra fee.

During the session, you will lay on a massage table while soft, relaxing music plays. You remain fully clothed while I hold my hands over the chakras in your body, as each chakra becomes cleansed and balanced. Most sessions last from 45 minutes to an hour in length.
