1 frozen banana (unpeel, break into smaller parts, place in Ziploc back and freeze)
1/2 cup frozen blueberries (if they aren’t frozen, the smoothie will be more like Jell-O.)
1 whole kale leaf, chopped, or handful of spinach (or handful of any other lettuce/green. My favorite is beet greens, which present a sweet flavor)
1/2 cup plain kefir, milk, non-dairy milk, water, coconut water or yogurt (your choice)
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
1 Tablespoon ground flax
In a blender, dump the flax into the bottom. Then put the handful of greens in. Then, dump the banana and blueberries in. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Finally, pour the kefir on top. (You might want to add or eliminate liquid, depending on how thick you like your smoothies.)
Blend until smooth. Pour into glass and enjoy.
